Shop is Open Mon-Sat 9am-6pm only.  Pick Up/Drop Off Requests for Sundays or outside these hours MUST be agreed in advance with Golf Rental Portugal. Please E-Mail us your request and we will get back to you. We can also deliver sets to your Resort/Hotel/Apartment for a small Handing Fee Paid directly to the Driver. Please E-Mail us with your Request and we can offer a Quotation.

Terms & Conditions

ONLINE BOOKING

The following are Golf Rental Ireland’s Online Booking Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy. On checkout you will be asked to confirm that you have read and understood these, before your booking can be confirmed.

NOTE: When you make a reservation, GolfRentalIreland.com will charge your Debit/Credit card for the Total Fee due for the “Hire Period” (as defined below) and any other item(s) added to the Shopping Cart. By acknowledging these Terms and Conditions, you also Authorize GolfRentalIreland.com to charge your debit or credit card for any late, lost, stolen, broken, non-returned equipment, and for all other amounts payable under these Terms and Conditions. Please see Section 2 below for further details.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR HIRING WITH GOLF RENTAL IRELAND (hereinafter referred to as “GolfRentalIreland.com”)

1. DEFINITIONS

1 – “Equipment” shall mean the golf equipment or any associated products being hired.

1.2 – “First Hire Day” and “Last Hire Day” shall mean the first and last days respectively on which the Equipment is being hired by you or your group.

1.3 – “Hire Period” shall mean the period during which the Equipment is being hired and will commence on the First Hire Day and terminate on the Last Hire Day.

2. PAYMENTS

2.1 – All hires and purchases that you make through GolfRentalIreland.com will be transacted by means of a valid payment card at the time of making a reservation. Hirers hereby authorize GolfRentalIreland.com to charge their Debit/Credit card immediately and without prior notification for any amounts due,plus any late return, lost, stolen, broken, non-returned equipment, and for all other amounts payable under these terms and conditions.

2.2 – An additional charge may be levied for Credit Card Payments, but this will be added prior to checkout. No additional charge will be added for debit card payments.

3. BOOKING LIMITATIONS:

3.1 – Booking Dates:
GolfRentalIreland.com can accept bookings made up to 12 months in advance.

3.2 – Minimum Hire Duration:
The minimum Hire Period is 1 Day, NOTE: minimum charge is for 1 Week Rental

3.3 – Maximum Hire Duration:
The maximum Hire Period is 8 weeks, unless previously arranged with GolfRentalIreland.com

3.4 – Subject to Availability:
GolfRentalIreland.com will make all reasonable efforts to provide you with the Equipment that you have ordered. However, please note that occassionaly due to unknown factors such as Equipment not being returned on time, insufficient lead time, lost, broken or stolen Equipment, etc., all of our “Equipment” advertised is subject to availability. If the “Equipment” you ordered is unavailable, we will endeavour to replace it with “Equipment” of the same standard that is appropriate to fulfil the same purpose.

4. PICK UP AND RETURN:

4.1 – Pick-up and Return of Equipment:
Equipment shall be picked up on the First Hire Day and shall be returned on the Last Hire Day at the location and time chosen. In the event of the Equipment not being returned at the chosen time on the Last Hire Day, a Late Return Fee of €10 per hour or part of, will be charged to the Debit/Credit Card details provided at time of booking without notice.

4.2 – Clients who book more than one set of Equipment when making their booking will need the other parties named on the Order to produce their passport(s) on pick up. A copy of each Passport will be taken by GolfRentalIreland.com staff and held Securely until Equipment has been returned on Last Hire Day, and inspected by GolfRentalIreland.com

4.3 – For “Equipment” to be released from our Pick up Locations, clients must be present and produce their passport(s), as per 4.2 and order confirmation number, which you will find on the Top of the Order Ackowledgement .

5. OUT OF HOURS :

5.1 – Our Hours of Operation for Pick-Up & Return are as follows

Cork, Ireland – 7.00am-10.00pm
Alvor, Portugal – 9.00am-6.00pm
Mijas, Spain – 9.00am-6.00pm

NOTE: An Out of Hours Service is Available at our Cork Location Only. If Equipment is selected to be Picked Up or Returned during Out of Hours, an Out of Hours Charge will be applied to the booking.

“OUT OF HOURS” Service is currently not available at our Portugal & Spain Agents.

6. DUTIES

5.1 – Golfrentalireland.com Duties

5.1.1 – Provide the Equipment on the First Hire Day at the Location Selected , subject to clause 3.4
5.1.2 – Ensure that the Equipment is fit for purpose

5.2 – Your Duties

5.2.1 – Pay the Total Fee referred to in Clause 6
5.2.2 – Not to use the Equipment inappropriately and used solely for the Purpose of Playing Golf.
5.2.3 – Allow Golfrentalireland.com to examine the Equipment at any time during the Hire Period
5.2.4 – Allow any urgent repairs deemed neccessary to the Equipment
5.2.5 Inform Golfrentalireland.com immediately by Telephone (+353 86 1249122) or E-Mail (enquire@golfrentalireland.com) if there is any fault or defect deemed to be with the “Equipment”

5.2.6 Return the Equipment in its initial condition on the Last Hire Day. Equipment will be Inspected by a member of Golfrentalireland.com Staff and any damage/lost/stolen equipment will be discussed and documented and you will be asked to sign a Damaged/Lost/Stolen Report and your Credit Card/Debit Card charged in accordance with the schedule below in the Event that you have Not Opted for INSURANCE OF the Equipment at time of Booking

5.3 – Stolen Equipment

In the event of Equipment been Stolen, Golfrentalireland.com should be notified immediately by Telephone (+353 86 1249122), along with the Local Garda Station or by calling the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

5.3 – Repossession of Equipment: Golfrentalireland.com reserves the right to request the return of the Equipment or to Repossess the Equipment if you do not comply with your duties as above, or if the Equipment appears to be abandoned or stolen. In the event of repossession, Golfrentalireland.com reserves the right to charge your payment card for the Full Hire Period and any losses incurred in light of the above.

6. QUOTED PRICES

6.1 – All prices shall be as listed on our website for each location and are subject to change without notice. The prices are guaranteed for the Hire Period Only and directly associated to the confirmed booking. The quoted prices take into account all mandatory charges and include Value Added Tax or any other local tax.

6.2 – Additional charges may be levied in the following situations:
– 6.2.1 – Damages & Theft: Up to but not exceeding the limit of the Equipment’s replacement cost in the event that you have not selected our Insurance Option
– 6.2.2 – Failure to Return the Equipment: Failure to return the Equipment for any reason on the Last Hire Day or when requested to do so by Golfrentalireland.com will result in us charging your Debit/Credit card for the full amount of the manufacturer’s replacement cost for the Equipment, in addition to any charges for the Hire Period.

6.3 Out of Hours Charge
– 6.3.1 – Please refer to section 5.

7. PAYMENT BY CARD OR PAYPAL

7.1 – Payment
Golfrentalireland.com will charge your Debit/Credit card for the amount due for the Hire Period when you make your online booking and by accepting these Terms and Conditions you hereby authorize this charge. In addition, you also authorize Golfrentalireland.com to charge your payment card for any late, lost, stolen, broken, non-returned equipment in accordance with Clause 6.2 and for all other amounts payable under these Terms and Conditions.

7.2 – Method of payment
7.1 Card Payments
“VISA” debit or credit card, and “MASTERCARD” debit or credit. Payment using any of these cards is accepted in accordance with the limits authorised by your card issuer.

7.2 PAYPAL
You can pay for your order via Paypal . Your Paypal Account will be charged with the Title “Golf Rental Ireland”

8. MODIFICATIONS TO BOOKING/ CANCELLATION POLICY

8.1 – Cancellations:
You may cancel this agreement at any time by notifying Golfrentalireland.com by e-mail of your intention to cancel. Bookings can only be cancelled by email. Phone cancellations cannot be accepted. In the case of cancellations, the following is our cancellation policy:
A minimum charge of €15 per set will apply to all cancellations. Cancellations of less than 31 days from date of pick up will result in a charge of 25% of the value of the booking. For cancellations of less than 14 days notice, a charge of 50% of the value of the booking will apply. For bookings cancelled less than 7 days but more than 48 hours from date of pick up, a charge of 75% of the value of the booking will apply.
NOTE: No refund will apply to bookings cancelled less than 48 hours from date of pick up.

8.2 – Unused Booking: Equipment that is Assigned to be Picked up will be kept available for 6 hours and then cancelled and placed as available on our website, if no contact has been made by you regarding the booking. If the Equipment is not picked up, no refund will apply and no Credit will apply to any unused booking.

8.3 – Changing Bookings and Extension of Hire Period:
We will do our best to accommodate any changes that you may wish to make to your booking, depending on Availability of Equipment , including any extensions that you may wish to make to the hire period. Please note, however, that any such changes are subject to availability and we cannot Guarantee your request. If you require to Return the Equipment before the Last Hire Day, you need to contact us by Telephone (+353 86 1249122) at least 24hrs in advance of the Scheduled Return Date/Time.

9. MISCELLANEOUS

9.1 – Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will affect the statutory rights of any Consumer or exclude or restrict any liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence or fraud of Golfrentalireland.com. You expressly acknowledge and agree that Golfrentalireland.com, its officers, directors, employees or representatives will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to: damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if golfrentalireland.com has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the online booking.

9.2 – Neither party shall be liable for failure in its performance hereunder caused by any case of Force Majeure. Force Majeure shall be considered as any irresistible or unforeseeable event, independent of the party suffering of the case of Force Majeure, which prevents this party from fulfilling its obligations.

9.3 – You do not acquire any ownership or other interest in the Equipment other than those items purchased in full as additions to your order e.g. Golf Balls, Merchandise

10. Insurance Protection – Damage / Loss Waiver

Failure to return the Equipment for any reason on the Last Hire Day or when requested to do so by Golfrentalireland.com will result in us charging your Debit/Credit card the full amount of the replacement cost of the Equipment. As Golfrentalireland.com only provides Original Manufacturer produced clubs, the replacement cost will be based on the Manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the Equipment, in addition to any charges for the Hire Period.

Where Insurance Protection has been purchased, the charge with respect to damage shall be reduced to zero providing the head of the club is returned. Where the head of the club is not returned said equipment will be deemed as lost / stolen. If any damaged club returned is unrepairable, this will also be deemed as lost/stolen and the appropriate amount will be automatically charged to the payment card.

Where the Gold Cover damage / loss waiver has been purchased, the charge in respect to lost/stolen equipment shall be reduced to the excess for that club(s). A full tariff of excesses is listed below.

11. PRIVACY POLICY

When you place an order with Golfrentalireland , we collect your Name, E-mail address, Mailing address, Phone number and Debit/Credit card information. Client’s payment card details are held by a third party in a vault system operated by Realex Payments. This information will act as security against your booking. Golfrentalireland.com have self-certified compliance with the PCI council standards.

NOTE: Golfrentalireland do not keep a record of your credit card number. Our booking system only records the Equipment/Products you book for rent and which products you purchase. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site use which enables us to improve our Service

This information is used to process orders and to provide a more personal shopping experience. Clients booking via www.Golfrentalireland, www.Golfrentalportugal, www.golfrentalspain.com websites will automatically be added to our client database. Clients may opt out of this listing by unsubscribing from the Companies communications at any time.

We do not hold or store any customer’s financial details.

The Debit/Credit card used to make a booking will act as security for Equipment booked.
We may, with advance notice, require you to produce your credit card on pick up of Equipment if necessary.

12. ABANDONED/ RECOVERY OF EQUIPMENT

Should there be a requirement to recover abandoned items from the rented “Equipment” from your Accommadation , Golf Course or any other location, after you have departed, there will be a fee of €50 plus €1.50 per km for the recovery of Equipment

If Equipment is deemed be lost on Last Hire Day , and subsequently found at your Accomodation or golf course or any other location, the same charges shall apply for retrieval of the Equipment.

13. SECURITY

When you place an order on our website, you are connected to our secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input.

Furthermore, all information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Irish Data Protection Act 1988.
